When you have been diagnosed with a serious illness or given information about treatment it can be very difficult to hear or remember everything that you have been told.

Our Hospice Information Service can help you or your family members by providing information about cancer, Motor Neurone Disease or other life threatening illnesses and the treatments that may be offered.  We can also link you with self-help and support groups or organisations providing support for specific illnesses.

The Hospice holds information in various forms including leaflets and books, videos and DVDs.  We can also help you in using the Internet and finding information that is reliable and accurate.  We can also help you to decide what questions you would like to ask your family doctor or consultant at your next appointment with them.
