“When I shop at my local hospice shop, I know that I am helping to raise money for local people. It is even better when I find a real bargain, and what’s more, I can donate and recycle my own unwanted items there too!”

The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House has shops in King’s Lynn, Fakenham, Wisbech, Downham Market, Hunstanton and Snettisham, and plans to open more are progressing well. Our busy shops rely on a team of vital and enthusiastic volunteers who support our small team of paid members of staff.

Our shops all make a valuable contribution towards funding the Hospice’s services. We sell a whole range of quality used goods from clothing to linen, books to toys and bric-a-brac. We also sell new goods such as Christmas cards, greeting cards and gifts in our shops, and the Furniture Store in King's Lynn stocks quality pre-owned furniture at reasonable prices. Friendly retail staff are always happy for customers to come in, have a chat and find out more about what we do.
