Fundraising
The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House helps people facing a life-limiting illness, and their families, by providing professional and compassionate care and support.
As we only receive 11% of our funding from the NHS, we simply cannot provide this care without the support of people in our community.
There are so many ways you can help us, from holding a coffee morning to skydiving! On this page you will find further information about all the ways you can get involved, have loads of fun and support people living with life-limiting illness in Norfolk and the Fens.
The Hospice has recently introduced three new aids to fundraising:
In Memory Seahorse - celebrate the life of a loved one with a seahorse displayed at The Norfolk Hospice.
For £3 per month a seahorse is displayed on a specially painted seascape in the main hall of the building. The seahorse is thought to symbolise protection, patience and determination and we feel that these are qualities found in abundance at the Hospice amongst the staff and the patients and their carers.

Linking Lives
Link up with your colleagues, friends and family in a giant paper chain to support the Hospice.
Hospice Scratch Cards - these cost just £1 each and have prizes ranging from £1 up to a fantastic £1000!
It’s a fun way to support the Hospice, just scratch off the panel to find out instantly whether you are a winner!!
These cards are available from all Norfolk Hospice shops, the Fundraising Office and the main Hospice. So pop in and try your luck today!

How we can help
Sponsor forms – if you are taking part in or organising a sponsored event, we’d be happy to provide you with official Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House sponsor forms, personalised to your event.
Fundraising materials – we can help with a number of items including leaflets, collecting tins, posters and other items that you can use to help raise awareness and funds from your event and help to promote The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House.
Local contacts – we have a small team of volunteers across the county who may be able to help with your events.
Publicity – we’ve got lots of posters that you can use to publicise your fundraising and we’d be happy to provide assistance on writing a good press release for your local media. If you’re organising a big event then our Fundraising Team would be happy to lend a hand. We can also publicise your event on our website.
