Pancake Race in King's Lynn
The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House took to the streets of the Vancouver Quarter shopping centre in King’s Lynn on Tuesday 24th February with all the fun of our annual Pancake Race.
This year was the first year that local schools joined in with the races. A team of 4 children from Snettisham Primary School were our schools’ race winners this year and were presented with prizes from the Mayor of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, Councillor David Johnson. Teams from local organizations came to compete for the pancake race trophy and this year the winner of the ‘race for the trophy’ was KLFM.
Over £800 was raised for the Norfolk Hospice on the day and a lot of fun was had. Our thanks go out to all our supporters, to ‘Cook to Perfection’ for providing the trophy, to KLFM for helping us on the day, to QD, Poundland and Crofters for giving prizes and to all our teams for taking part.

Quiz night at Thornham
We all had a great time at the The Old Coach House in Thornham on 21 January, warming up a wintry night with an entertaining (and surprisingly competitive!) Pop Quiz. The event raised a significant sum to help pay for the day-to-day services provided by The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, and we are most grateful to The Coach House for their hospitality. Here are a few of the many photos from this event:

Evolution gig at the Leziate Park Country Club
On Saturday January 31, there was a treat in store for everyone who likes their rock music live and lively. Both the headline band Evolution and the support band Minority put on fine performances for us, and a good time was had by all. We're now all looking forward for a repeat of this great evening which is to take place on 31 July 2009.
