Golf Day 2009
Charity Golf Day held at Swaffam Golf Club on 5th June
108 Golfers enjoyed fun and fellowship at the Charity Golf Day held at Swaffham Golf Club on 5th June. The event raised over £4500 for the Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House.
The winning team, with 94 Stableford points, was Hunstanton Golf Veterans Society. A team from Stephenson Smart came in second with 92 points, and in third place were the Left Handed Only team, who also had 92 points but slipped to third on a count back. Six individual Prizes were also awarded for categories such as Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive.
