New Hospice

The desire to provide Norfolk with the level of hospice care it requires has always been central to the mission of our Hospice. A crucial part of this aspiration is to develop a purpose-built Hospice for adults living in Norfolk and the Fens, something which is not available in the County outside the Norwich catchment area.
Our community is one of the most deprived in the U.K., and is considered to be the largest area that does not have a full service Hospice.
The people of Norfolk and the Fens urgently need and truly deserve the very highest standard of Hospice care for everyone who requires it.
Our vision is of a full service purpose-built Hospice - to include in-patient beds - on a new site, in a more central location, to serve North and West Norfolk and the part of the Fens we cover. This project will only come to fruition with the support of our benefactors and the communities we serve.
As the range of services we offer increase, so does the amount of money we require to continue supporting those living with a life-limiting illness.
We have established a Capital Campaign to raise funds for the New Hospice which involves appeals in Norwich and London. We have acquired land in Hillington, east of King’s Lynn and outline planning permission has been approved. We are committed to consulting with the local community about our plans and believe that the New Hospice will bring many additional benefits to the village and surrounding area.
