Derek Harvey meets the challenge on Mount Aconcagua

Local businessman Derek Harvey left his desk in December 2010 to tackle the highest mountain in the Americas - Mount Aconcagua.
Derek's party were within 400metres of the peak when bad weather closed in, and, after making one unsuccessful attempt to climb higher, they were forced to abandon the attempt.

Derek chose The Norfolk Hospice to benefit from the sponsorship of this event. He paid all the expenses of the trip himself, so that every penny of the sponsorship money will go to the Hospice.
