Ever fancied taking on the ultimate challenge in the world's most famous 26-mile road race?
 The Norfolk Hospice has Golden Bond places in the 2009 London Marathon and we're always keen to hear from people who are interested in joining our team!

Getting Involved
1) Apply for a Norfolk Hospice guaranteed place:
We have several guaranteed places and will offer them based on individual applications.
Guaranteed places will be offered when the London Marathon ballot closes and successful candidates are informed by the race organisers that they have a ballot place.
Please note that for a guaranteed place you will need to commit to raise a minimum sponsorship amount of £1,500.
2) And then, Register for a London Marathon place:
Ballot applications for the London Marathon are online, and opened on Marathon Day, 13th April 2008. All the ballot application places have now been filled and the Marathon's Ballot Entry system is now closed.
If you have entered the Marathon Ballot Entry System, you will find out if you have one of the London Marathon ballot places after 1 October 2008 – please contact us immediately to let us know.
If you have a ballot place in the London Marathon we would love for you to run for us! The Norfolk Hospice depends on the community to survive and the commitment of our supporters to go the extra mile - or even 26! - means our vital care can continue. So why not join our 2009 Marathon team? We can support your fundraising efforts and training in a number of ways and you will receive one of our team vests to train and run the race in!
