The Bespak Grand East Anglia Run
The Bespak Grand East Anglia Run (GEAR) is a 10 kilometres (6.2 miles) road race, suitable for a range of abilities. It is a one-lap course around the centre of King's Lynn. The course is on paths and roads, and is flat and fast.
The atmosphere on the day is fantanstic with 2000 runners being cheered on by crowds of spectators. Taking place in early May each year, the GEAR is fast becoming renowned as both a first class regional athletics event and a brilliant charity fun run.
In 2012, the race will be run on May 6th, and as usual the Norfolk Hospice will be fielding a team.
