Since August 2012 I've been volunteering at the Fakenham shop - I wanted to gain some work experience that could help me build on my strengths instead of being frustrated with things I couldn't do as well.

I didn’t used to say much. Volunteering gives me something to talk about in a social setting – if you've just been sat at home you don’t always feel as if you have anything to share with your family and friends.

I've really gained in confidence as I have learned - and am trusted to work on my own. This makes me feel proud.

And one day I'd like to write a book!
