On Friday 12th July 22 teams of golfers played the challenging 18 hole course at King’s Lynn Golf Club to raise valuable funds for The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House.

After the game, all golfers were treated to a two course meal in the Clubhouse, and were able to bid on a large assortment of prizes in the auction including a large Fortnum and Masons hamper, official Leicester Tigers signed rugby jersey and a lunch for two at North Street Bistro.

The winning team of the day was ‘Sparky Stars’ who kindly donated back the first prize of £200 to the hospice. A longest drive and nearest the pin competition also took place on the day as well as a putting competition.

Jessica Walker, Community Fundraiser at The Norfolk Hospice said,

The golf day is one of our biggest events in the fundraising calendar. I would like to thank all of the teams that participated in the day along with the sponsors and all of the companies who donated the auction and raffle prizes.

This is the tenth year the Hospice has hosted its annual charity day and we hope next year is bigger and better than ever before. Next year’s golf day will be hosted at King’s Lynn Golf Club on Friday 10th July. To register your interest please contact the fundraising office on 01485 601701 or email [email protected]
