What's happening News Beer Festival Raises a Glass and £15,000 for Hospice An estimated 5000 people attended the South Wootton Beer Festival over the August bank holiday weekend. The new event organised between members of King’s Lynn Vancouver Round Table 1114 and South Wootton Events chose to support The Norfolk Hospice as the benefitting charity. The family fun event included over 100 Ales & Ciders as well as a Prosecco and gin bar, food stalls, inflatables and live music. Jessica Walker, Community Fundraiser at The Norfolk Hospice said, On behalf of The Norfolk Hospice, thank you to everyone involved in the organising of the Beer Festival and also everybody in the community that attended over the two days. £15,000 is a fantastic amount to be raised and will be used to fund much needed equipment for the hospice. The support from organisations such as King’s Lynn Vancouver Round Table 1114 and South Wootton Events make a huge difference, allowing us to provide much more care and support to local families. If you are a member of a local club, society or organisation and are interested in supporting The Norfolk Hospice this year or in the future please contact Jessica Walker, Community Fundraiser on 01485 601701 or email [email protected].
