A second Winter Ball is being organised by the hospice after an inaugural event in 2017 raised over £12,000. Taking place at Pentney Abbey on Saturday 10th November, this year’s event will transform the stunning abbey into an Alpine Ski Lodge.

In the heart of the beautiful Norfolk countryside is located the stunning medieval Pentney Abbey. Steeped in centuries of history, now newly renovated and privately owned, it is the most exclusive and idyllic venue for a Ball.

Surrounded by 35 acres of grounds and miles of stunning Norfolk countryside, Pentney Abbey is a magical and historic place with a past reaching all the way back to the 14th century.  The Barn was used as a medieval banquet hall, making it the perfect location for an evening event. It is a really striking and unique venue with impressive exposed beams and original stonework overlooked by the stunning Gatehouse.

Lindsey Atkin, Community Fundraising Manager at the Hospice said,

We are really grateful to Pentney Abbey for their support. Last year’s ball was so successful. This year’s Winter Ball promises to be an exciting and entertaining evening for all guests. Please come along and enjoy this unique event and help support this fantastic, local cause.

Tickets are £65 each. This includes a welcome drink and sumptuous three-course meal. There will also be fantastic entertainment during the evening from Eddie Seales Big Band as well as an auction and lucky dip raffle.

Tickets can be purchased online from or from The Norfolk Hospice Fundraising Office Tel: 01485 601701.
