The Norfolk Hospice annual Light up a Life service will be virtual once again, following the success of our online service in 2020.

Due to be streamed on our YouTube channel on Wednesday 15th December at 6.30pm, the service will run for approximately 30 minutes.

Light up a Life is our annual memorial service which aims to help people to remember their family members and friends and to help them to celebrate their memories. It is a service about reflection, prayer and to celebrate them in a meaningful way in the lead up to Christmas.

The service will feature readings and talks from a patient’s family, Hospice staff and performances from St Martha’s Catholic Primary School, Sara-Jane Brennock and One Voice Glee Choir Norwich.

Lyndsay Carter, Chief Executive at The Norfolk Hospice, said:

"Light up a Life has been an established part of The Norfolk Hospice for 23 years and we are pleased that we can continue delivering the service, although unfortunately not in person as we did before the pandemic.

“We were really pleased with the feedback we had for our Light up a Life online service last year and we hope that our supporters, old and new, all tune in again and enjoy the service.”

The service will be streamed live on The Norfolk Hospice’s YouTube channel on Wednesday 15th December at 6.30pm.
