South Wootton Green looks set to host its biggest event yet this summer, with a collaboration between the team behind South Wootton Events and King's Lynn Vancouver Round Table 1114 fundraising for The Norfolk Hospice.

Taking place over 2 days (26th & 27th), during August Bank Holiday Weekend, The South Wootton Beer Festival will offer over 100 Ales & Ciders, a Prosecco and Gin bar and a selection of live music acts and entertainment for the whole family.

Founder & Chair of South Wootton Events, Claire Johnston said

We are delighted to add yet another community event to our schedule, providing a further opportunity for everyone to enjoy the beautiful Village Green at South Wootton, whilst raising money for such an important local cause. Feedback to the idea has been fantastic and we are looking forward to delivering this event as part of a bigger team with the guys from Round Table.

Rob Mason, Chair of The Round Table South Wootton Beer Festival Committee said

Fundraising is at the heart of what we do at Round Table. We approached Claire and her team, based on the success of The Village Fete and their expertise in delivering outdoor events, to collaborate on what will be our biggest ever fundraiser. It will be very much a team effort and involving lots of people from the wider community, we are incredibly excited.

Jessica Walker, Community Fundraiser at The Norfolk Hospice said:

We’re extremely grateful to South Wootton Events and King's Lynn Vancouver Round Table 1114 for choosing to support and raise essential funds for The Norfolk Hospice this year at their beer festival. The money raised will make a vital contribution to our funding, helping us continue to provide free palliative care and support to patients, and their carers and families in the local community.

You can find out more about the South Wootton Beer Festival at South Wootton Village Fete, which takes place on Saturday 10th June from 12 midday, where you can also meet the Round Table and The Norfolk Hospice teams.
