There’s fun to be had for all the family in Snettisham on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th July, when the Norton Hill Light Railway is open to the public – one of only three occasions each year.  Hunstanton Rotary Club, is organising the weekend of 29th and 30th July and will donate the proceeds to local charities including The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House. The event runs from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on each day; entry is £1, with no charge for children; there is the bonus of free parking; and a ride on the train costs £1.50.

A visit to the Norton Hill Light Railway will be an opportunity to experience a day of traditional family fun.  The main attraction is a miniature railway which takes its passengers on an exciting journey through woods, over viaducts and through tunnels; this experience in itself is worth a visit.  Visitors can also enjoy live music, refreshments, stalls and games as well as a whirl on a hand-turned roundabout.

Jessica Walker, Community Fundraiser at The Norfolk Hospice said,

We are extremely grateful to the Hunstanton Rotary Club for choosing to support the hospice and organise this fun family day for us. Community events like this really make a difference to the amount and quality of support we can provide to the local community.
