What's happening News The Norfolk Hospice eBay shop celebrates its first birthday The Norfolk Hospice’s eBay sales department has recently celebrated its first birthday. Over the past year, the department has been so successful that it now employs an eBay Manager, Kate Bambridge. Kate, who joined The Norfolk Hospice team in August 2017, is proud of the success that eBay sales have had. We receive an eclectic mix of items from our shops throughout Norfolk and in Wisbech. We can sell anything from antique scent bottles to vintage accordions. One amazing success was a camera lens which we listed for just £15 and sold for a massive £286. It turned out to be very rare and highly sought after. Kate commented on the importance of volunteer staff in helping achieve eBay sales. At present, we have two regular eBay volunteers who do an incredible job of listing items, but we are always seeking more helpers in order to expand our sales. Volunteers don’t have to know anything about eBay in order to support us as full-training will be given and helpers can expect to work in a friendly, welcoming environment. Anybody interested in lending their support to The Norfolk Hospice eBay Department should contact Kate Bambridge on 01553 767752.
