Your local hospice, The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House is looking for an exceptional person. We are looking to recruit the following: Community and Events Fundraiser Salary: Up to £21,000 dependant on experience (initially a 1 year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave)Hours: 37 ½ hours over 5 daysHolidays: 25 plus 8 public holidays pro rata We are looking for a passionate, energetic and enthusiastic Events and Community Fundraiser to join our busy, welcoming and successful team. Based in our fundraising office in Hillington, you will organise and attend both the hospice’s own events and those organised by our supporters in the community. The successful candidate will need to be confident, approachable, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be self-motivated with a positive attitude, able to work under pressure on your own initiative as well as being part of a team. The role requires you to travel and therefore a full current driving licence and your own car are essential. This role is on an initial 12-month contract (maternity cover), however, as we continue to grow and expand our fundraising activities there may be opportunities for the right candidate to establish a permanent role in the team.
