Carol Mott Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and helping me to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity.

I am taking part in a walking Marathon in London on the 28th September 2019. Not only is this challenge 26 miles long, it is timed and has to be completed within a set time scale.

Those closest to me will know the invaluable support I was given by The Norfolk Hospice after losing my partner in the most horrendous circumstances. I was given Trauma Counselling, Bereavement Counselling and then Complementary Therapy, all this support and care helped me overcome the PTSD that my Dr diagnosed me with during this difficult time. Most importantly this was all provided free of charge.

This opportunity allows me the chance to give back to this wonderful charity only a fraction of what they gave to me and also to challenge myself.

The support they provide is tailored to the individual, encompassing their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs in an understanding, caring and compassionate way, ensuring dignity is maintained throughout.

Care is delivered at the Hospice’s purpose-built facility in Hillington, either in the Inpatient Unit, Day Therapy Unit or via one-to-one sessions at the Hospice. Care is also provided in people’s own homes.

It’s a great cause, and your donation will help them achieve even more. Donating is easy, quick and secure.

Please share with friends and family on Facebook and Twitter – and elsewhere – so I can reach my target and together we can help The Norfolk Hospice provide even more care for people in the local community.

Thank you! Carol Mott
