Thank you for visiting my fundraising page

Ok so 4 days before the event I have been brave, crazy, stupid, whatever you want to call it and agreed to JUMP OUT OF A PLANE with a group of girls from the hospice THIS SUNDAY and I’m doing it for The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House!

I work as part of the nursing team in the Inpatient unit at the hospice which has only been open 1 year and as a charity we rely heavily on donations to keep the service going! We deliver end of life care for patients and there families and I am so honoured to be able to be part of someones life at this time and to make their last weeks as comfortable as possible!

For this reason I am asking for donations no matter how big or small that will go to the hospice so that we can continue to provide the care we do for families and patients and also in order for us to grow as a service to enable that every single person gets the opportunity to use the service when such sad circumstances arise!!!

Please get donating as those who know me know that this isn’t something I have chosen to do lightly as I have a fear or flying!!!

The support they provide is tailored to the individual, encompassing their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs in an understanding, caring and compassionate way, ensuring dignity is maintained throughout.

Care is delivered at the Hospice’s purpose-built facility in Hillington, either in the Inpatient Unit, Day Therapy Unit or via one-to-one sessions at the Hospice. Care is also provided in people’s own homes.

The current services cost over £2million per year to run; the NHS funds only 35% of this, with the majority coming from the support of local groups, businesses and individuals.

It’s a great cause, and your donation will help them achieve even more. Donating is easy, quick and secure.

Please share with friends and family on Facebook and Twitter – and elsewhere – so I can reach my target and together we can help The Norfolk Hospice provide even more care for people in the local community.

Thank you!
