This summer my close friend, Tommy Payne, and I will be attempting a brace of cycling challenges in memory of his father Eamonn and to raise money for The Norfolk Hospice. They provided fantastic personal care for Eamonn and have also done so for many others with life-shortening illnesses.

The support they provide is tailored to the individual, encompassing their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs in an understanding, caring and compassionate way, ensuring dignity is maintained throughout. Care is delivered at the Hospice’s purpose-built facility in Hillington, either in the Inpatient Unit, Day Therapy Unit or via one-to-one sessions at the Hospice. Care is also provided in people’s own homes.

The first of our challenges will be riding this years Ride London-Surrey Prudential - a challenging 100 mile course over some of the most iconic cycling scenery in the country. The second shall be a >1000km trip on our tandem - from the hospice, across the channel to Holland, down the north-west coast of the continent to Cherbourg, then back through England to Norfolk.

Updates can be seen on our tandem instagram here -

Any donations will be most graciously received.

Many thanks!
