What's happening News The Norfolk Hospice welcomes a new consultant and a new nurse The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House is delighted to welcome Sue Barham, a Nurse Consultant in Palliative Care. Sue will join The Norfolk Hospice care teams in April to lead on inpatient development, and will support the Hospice’s other care teams to maintain their skills and competence. Sue has a Master’s Degree as an Advanced Practitioner and 14 years’ experience in leading services in cancer and palliative care. The Hospice is also pleased to welcome Dr Viv Lucas, Locum Consultant in Palliative Medicine. Dr Lucas is employed by Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust, one of our partners in the delivery of palliative services. He recently joined the West Norfolk Integrated Palliative Care Service, which is now based at the Hospice. Lyndsay Carter, Chief Executive of The Norfolk Hospice, said: We have been working tirelessly over the last few years to support more patients and their families in West Norfolk. Sue Barham’s appointment has allowed us to take another step forward in this process, and working with Dr Lucas and the West Norfolk Integrated Service is a positive addition to our service and our provision of the highest standards of care.
