Your Local Paper Managing Director, Alan Taylor, has worked with Tapping House over many years with different hats on and has always valued the incredible work the Hospice undertakes. Being a sponsorship and donation led operation means tremendous effort 365 days a year happens to ensure the sustainability of the Hospice and the staff all work tirelessly making sure those in the unfortunate position of palliative end of life care, have the one of the best, modern and up to date environments for them and their families to share their devastating circumstances. Your Local Paper will always support The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House with promotional and recruitment advertisements as well as editorial support meaning the money that would normally be spent on such promotions can be spent where it counts, at the Hospice itself.

Fosters

Fosters have been supporting the Hospice for a number of years and have recently just held a Halloween Ball in Norwich raising over £5,000 for the Hospice. Fosters also provide legal advice for patients at the Hospice.

Founded in 1761, Fosters Solicitors is an award winning law firm based in Norwich, with offices in Norfolk & Suffolk. Fosters have supported The Norfolk Hospice since 2015, offering a monthly 'legal drop in' service for advice and assistance on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and other legal matters. The service is available from within the comfort of the The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, ensuring those that need to talk with a lawyer, can do so in a safe and secure environment. Fosters also support The Hospice by way of continous fundraising by staff and at local events, most recently making them one of two chosen local charities for the Fosters Halloween Ball 2016.

The Hospice lies within the hearts of many at Fosters and by supporting such a worthwhile cause, we can make a difference to individuals and the Hospice itself. By raising awareness of The Hospice together with vital funds to help the amazing staff in their plans moving forwards, together we can ensure the help, support and fantastic surroundings of The Norfolk Hospice is available when needed most.

Edwards and Blake

Edwards and Blake have supported the Hospice for a number of years by providing delicious catering at a number of fundraising events.

We support the Hospice because as a local company we prefer to give to the closer community around us and the Hospice is a really essential part of the area. The benefits to our business are demonstrating that some of our success is given back to the community and our clients can see that we are a caring, giving organisation. The same applies to our staff who join in our various initiatives to support our charity work and gives them a sense of satisfaction when they have played a part.

It's lovely to have an organisation that wants to show off what is going on.... an open door to sponsors who can see the process of how the funds are being spent and ultimately the end results!

Congham Hall

Congham Hall have supported the Hospice for a number of years, raising thousands of pounds selling our Hospice Bears to guests who can't 'Bear to leave them behind'. They regularly donate auction and raffle prizes and have hosted several fundraising events.

Having worked with the team at the Hospice, I can thoroughly recommend their enthusiasm and professionalism. It was a pleasure to work with them and raise money for this worthwhile cause.

Elgoods have supported us for a number of years at their bi-annual Open Gardens and Craft Fair and Christmas Raffles.

Cranes Garden Buildings

The beautiful gardens at the Hospice were only possible thanks to Crane Garden Buildings who generously donated their plants from RHS Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows. They also sourced the turf, gravel, sandstone and compost needed to landscape the courtyard.

The Crane family are big supporters of their local community, and having been based in Dersingham for over 45 years, they have always been within close proximity of the Hospice.

When the Hospice moved to Hillington and James and Nick Crane heard of their plans for the new facility, they saw an opportunity to help, so they donated the plants from their 2015 and 2016 RHS Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows for the gardens surrounding the Hospice, helping to create a wonderfully tranquil area for patients and relatives to relax in.
