Our receptionists are the first point of contact for the hospice, providing a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere for patients, their relatives and staff. They answer the phone and greet visitors in a warm, compassionate and professional manner, directing all enquiries to the correct person or place. They also carry out a wide range of admin tasks that are essential to keeping the hospice running smoothly. You'll get full training on all of this.

The team share the shifts, each covering four hours between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. You'll be asked to cover at least once every two weeks, sometimes weekly if that suits you.
