Learn new or use your existing retail and customer care skills, meet new people and make new friends. Being part of a huge fundraising effort is very motivating as you provide the best service possible to our customers and people who donate their pre-loved items to raise as much money as possible for the Hospice. You get a good feeling knowing that the money going into the till helps pay for Hospice services.

We especially need help at King's Lynn, HoltDownham Market, Hunstanton, and Swaffham - and at our new superstore outlet in Wisbech at the Cromwell Road Retail Park.

These roles would suit people looking to get back into work after a career break, retired, semi-retired, and those not employed alike.

Interested? Apply Online or contact the shop.

King's Lynn St Nicholas - Monday to Sunday

If you like dealing with customers, including operating the shop till, we'd love to hear from you. You'd also be helping keep the shop floor tidy and well stocked with goods to sell.

This is a busy out of town store with plenty of parking for our volunteers and customers.

Call Bobbie on 01553 763700 or pop in to Unit 2, St Nicholas Retail Park, PE30 2HW for an informal chat.

Holt - Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

Could you help with front of shop cover including till use, stock replenishing, dealing with customers and general tidying up? We also need support in our processing area - tagging clothing, sorting and cleaning bric-a-brac and steaming clothing.

We have some fabulous items donated and would love to maximise our sales from these.

Call Janet on 01263 710627 or pop in to 5 Bull St, NR25 6HR for an informal chat.

Downham Market - Thursday afternoons

We need help between 1pm and 4.30pm on Thursdays - dealing with customers, keeping the shop floor replenished and operating the till.

If you're good with handling money and like some face to face contact with customers this could be the role for you.

Call Karen on 01366 381472 or pop in to 8 Wales Court, PE38 9JZ for an informal chat.

Wisbech, Cromwell Road Retail Park - now open

This is a new outlet - contact Dawn on 01945 580177 or pop in to Unit 6, Cromwell Road Retail Park, PE14 0SL for an informal chat.

The impressive size of these new premises means that this store can showcase a wide range of donated furniture - sofas, dining suites, even complete bedroom sets.

As we're open from 9am to 5.30pm Mondays to Saturdays and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays we need people who are happy to operate the shop till and help customers with their purchases.

Hunstanton - Saturdays

We need help with all aspects of front of shop cover including stock replenishing, dealing with customers and general tidying up - and using the till, if you're comfortable with that.

Even one or two hours would mean we can keep the shop looking at its best.

Call Elaine on 01485 534446 or pop in to 12 The Green, PE36 5EH for an informal chat.

Swaffham - Mondays to Saturdays

We too are looking for help with all aspects of front of shop cover including stock replenishing, dealing with customers and general tidying up - and especially using the till, if you're comfortable with that.

This is a friendly shop with a great team of volunteers.

Call Cymon on 01760 720323 or pop in to 75 Market Place, PE37 7AQ for an informal chat.

At all our shops, it would be great if you could make a regular commitment for the hours you're happy to attend - this could be as little as one or two hours at a time if you can't manage a full four hour shift.

You will be providing invaluable help with the running of the shops, keeping them stocked and attractively displayed. You can get involved as much or as little as you like by sorting out stock, putting your own stamp on the shop displays, getting trained to serve customers at the till.

Full training and support will be given.

Range of duties that may be available:

  1. Looking through our donations to select and sort the quality stock for the shop floor
  2. Sorting and organising stock in the stockroom so that the area is kept in order
