By volunteering at one of our shops you can learn retail and customer care skills, or use skills you already have. And it's a chance to meet new people and make new friends. Being part of a huge fundraising effort is very motivating - you provide excellent service to our customers and the people who donate their pre-loved items, raising as much money as possible for the Hospice. And you get a good feeling knowing that the money going into the till helps pay for Hospice services.

Right now, we especially need help at our superstores in Wisbech and King's Lynn St Nicholas, and at our town centre shops in Hunstanton, Holt, King's LynnSwaffham and Downham Market

Interested? Apply Online or contact the shop.

King's Lynn - Broad Street

This town centre shop is busy every day of the week so we want people who like helping customers with their purchases, taking their money and operating the till.

If you think you'd like the comings and goings of a lively shop and can greet our customers with a friendly smile, this could be just what you want.

Call Lynn on 01553 766564 or pop in to 26/28 Broad Street, PE30 1DP for an informal chat.

King's Lynn St Nicholas - Thursday mornings, all day Saturdays and Sundays

If you like dealing with customers, including operating the shop till, we'd love to hear from you - especially if you can help us on Sundays. You'd also be helping keep the shop floor tidy and well stocked with goods to sell.

This is a busy out of town store - there's plenty of parking for our volunteers and customers.

Call Bobbie on 01553 763700 or pop in to Unit 2, St Nicholas Retail Park, PE30 2HW for an informal chat.

Wisbech, Cromwell Road Retail Park

This is our newest outlet - call Dawn on 01945 580177 or pop in to Unit 6, Cromwell Road Retail Park, PE14 0SL for an informal chat.

The premises are huge so this store can display a wide range of donated furniture - sofas, dining suites, even complete bedroom sets.

As we're open from 9am to 5.30pm Mondays to Saturdays and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays we need people who are happy to operate the shop till and help customers with their purchases.

Hunstanton - Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

We're open all year round at this busy seafront shop - we need help with stock replenishing, dealing with customers, tidying up, and using the till if you're comfortable with that. No need to commit to a regular pattern of hours if that doesn't suit you - but you can if you want and we'd be glad of it.

Even one or two hours of your help a week would mean we can keep the shop looking its best.

Call Elaine on 01485 534446 or pop in to 12 The Green, PE36 5EH for an informal chat.

Holt - Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

Could you help with front of shop cover including till use, stock replenishing, dealing with customers and general tidying up? We also need support in our processing area - tagging clothing, sorting and cleaning bric-a-brac and steaming clothing.

We have lots of fabulous items donated and you can help us make them attractive to customers - and maximise our sales.

Call Janet on 01263 710627 or pop in to 5 Bull St, NR25 6HR for an informal chat.

Want to use your spare time to do something that will make a difference to local people? Meet new people, make new friends - and help the Hospice provide support for local people living with life-shortening conditions.

We're looking for help with all aspects of the shop and for various days of the week, Monday to Saturday.

This is a friendly shop with a great team of volunteers - and if you're looking to return to paid work, volunteering can help boost your skills and confidence as well as your CV.

Call Cymon on 01760 720323 or pop in to 75 Market Place, Swaffham, PE37 7AQ

Downham Market

We need extra help most days - dealing with customers, keeping the shop floor replenished and operating the till.

If you're good with handling money and like some face to face contact with customers this could be the role for you.

Call Karen on 01366 381472 or pop in to 8 Wales Court, PE38 9JZ for an informal chat.

At all our shops, it would be great if you could make a regular commitment for the hours you're happy to attend - this could be as little as one or two hours at a time if you can't manage a full four hour shift.

You will be providing invaluable help with the running of the shops, keeping them stocked and attractively displayed. You can get involved as much or as little as you like by sorting out stock, putting your own stamp on the shop displays, getting trained to serve customers at the till.

Full training and support will be given.

Range of duties that may be available:

  1. Looking through our donations to select and sort the quality stock for the shop floor
  2. Sorting and organising stock in the stockroom so that the area is kept in order
  3. Working behind the scenes to help to hang, size, steam and price
