Chief Executive

Lyndsay Carter

Lyndsay joined the hospice as Director of Care and Deputy Chief Executive in December 2013, becoming Chief Executive in September 2014. She started her career in Kent as a staff nurse on a surgical ward. She became a palliative care specialist nurse for both hospital and community patients in 2002. Her roles have included Lead Nurse for Cancer and General Manager for Cancer and Palliative Care services in Peterborough.

Director of Finance and Income Generation

John Garrett

John initially joined the Board of Trustees in 2009 and resigned to take up the Director of Finance role in January 2015. John is a senior Finance professional. He joined a King's Lynn based firm of accountants in 1971 progressing through the firm to becoming a partner. John retired from the practice in December 2016 and has since taken additional responsibility as Director of Income Generation. He is a Fellow of the Association of International Accountants and Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants as well as a Member of the Chartered Management Institute.

Director of Operations and Retail

Lynn Lockheart

Lynn joined the hospice in July 2014. She has overall responsibility for HR, Retail, Voluntary Services, Facilities Management and Health & Safety.  Prior to joining the hospice she worked for Jaeger for 25 years in various roles within Finance and HR, with her final role being that of Head of HR.  Lynn is CIPD qualified.

    The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House serves a geographical area of around 550 square miles across Norfolk and the Fens and a population catchment area of around 165,000 people.

    We sell a wide range of furniture in several of our shops. We can collect large items of furniture free of charge and we also provide a house clearance service.
