Leave a gift in Your Will

We make time for family, work, friends, hobbies, pastimes and all the things that are important to us, but many people put off making a Will and setting their affairs in order. This is because, understandably, it is difficult to contemplate what may happen after we die.

Making a Will is important because it means that you can be sure that your estate will be divided as you wish after your death. It will also save your family from worrying about what you might have liked to have happen to treasured possessions at a time when they are mourning the loss of a loved one.

For over 35 years The Norfolk Hospice has been providing high quality holistic care for adults with life-shortening illnesses whenever they need us, as everybody deserves the best possible care as they approach the end of their life.

Did you know, 7 in 10 of the people we care for are funded by people like you giving donations, buying in our shops and from gifts in Wills? Also, did you know that the Hospice were able to purchase their first building back in 1989 thanks to a legacy from Mr and Mrs Tapping - hence our name, Tapping House! It is thanks to the generosity of people like you that we can continue caring and supporting over 1,100 families each year.

A gift in your Will is a heartfelt gesture which is life driven and only death activated

When the time is right for you to remember a charity in your Will, please remember The Norfolk Hospice. Even a gift of 1% can make a huge difference and your inheritors still receive 99%. Of course family and friends always come first, but after you have provided for them, please consider providing for future generations needing your local hospice.

For more information or to request a Gift in Wills pack please send us an enquiry, email [email protected] or phone us on 01485 601701.

If you have already made a Will and wish to leave a legacy to us this can be easily done by way of a Codicil, which is an amendment to your Will. Please click on the button below to see just how easy it is.

If you have already left a gift to The Norfolk Hospice in your Will, thank you for your generosity. We are keen to know if people have included us in their Will in order that we can prepare for the future as a charity, but also so that we can acknowledge this thoughtful gift. Please contact the Fundraising Team on 01485 601701 or email [email protected].
