On Saturday the 11th August 2018, Bill sadly passed away after his battle with cancer. He remained determined to fight as long as he could but when the time was right for him he was brought to Tapping House to spend his remaining days in the loving and caring environment of this Hospice. The staff, the volunteers and all that he met there made the time that he had left so special, for not only himself but for his family, His Wife Maureen, Son Matthew, Daughter in-law Emma and Granddaughter Phoebe. When Bill passed we knew that as much as Bill loved the flowers that grew in his garden, he would want more people to be helped in the way that Tapping House helped him and his family. This is why raising money for this fantastic charity is the best way we can honour such a wonderful Husband, a devoted Father and Grandfather, a friend and such a kind and generous man.
