Things we are unable to accept

Please note we are unable to accept: batteries, chemical products, crash helmets, cycle helmets and riding hats, paint or varnish, razors, safety equipment, and weapons.
Unwanted gifts

Unwanted gifts can be sold in our charity shops or used by the fundraising team as raffle prizes.
Homemade items

Unfortunately our shops are unable to sell homemade items.
Furniture

We sell a wide range of furniture in several of our shops. We can collect large items of furniture free of charge and we also provide a house clearance service.
Curtains, table and bed linen and blankets

We sell a wide range of curtains, table linen, bed linen, blankets and cushions.
Books, CDs, DVDs, Vinyl, Videos

We sell a wide range of books, CDs, DVDs, vinyl and videos.
Electrical items

We sell a wide range of second hand household electrical items including kettles, toasters, kitchen appliances and lamps. We also sell white goods including fridges, electric ovens, and home entertainment items such as TV's, games consoles, and DVD players.
China, glass, crockery and household items

Bric-a-brac is always popular with customers
Clothing and accessories

We sell pre-loved clothing, footwear, bags, and fashion accessories in all of our ten shops.

Meet our staff and volunteers

The Hospice is run by a team of paid full time and part time staff and over 300 volunteers, some of whom commit to working several hours every week for the Hospice, whilst others volunteer a few hours in a year to help out.

Our history

The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House serves a geographical area of around 550 square miles across Norfolk and the Fens and a population catchment area of around 165,000 people.
Susan's story

The Hospice has been life-saving for me. It’s seven months since Bernard died and I still attend the monthly coffee mornings for the bereaved and the monthly stroll together around Sandringham woods. It’s so cathartic to talk to others that have been through this very dark place. We all support each other. We all know exactly what each other is talking about. We’ve all been there, the timings are different, the order of events are different, but the grief is the same.
Grand East Anglia Run

Taking place on Sunday 6th May, this well-established run is being staged by Run For All in partnership with Alive Leisure and the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk.
