An Afternoon with Will Dean

Interviewed by Leanne Fridd from Bookbugs and Dragons Tales in Norwich

Will Dean grew up in the East Midlands, living in nine different villages before the age of eighteen. After studying law at the LSE and working many varied jobs in London, he settled in rural Sweden with his wife. He built a wooden house in a boggy forest clearing and it’s from this base that he compulsively reads and writes.

Authors, Books and Cakes are thrilled to be able to host Will while he is visiting the UK from his home in Sweden promoting his new book release. Will has kindly offered his support in aid of The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House.

Dark Pines, the first in the Tuva Moodyson series, was published to huge acclaim in 2018, was shortlisted for the Not the Booker prize, selected for Zoe Ball's TV Book Club and named as a Daily Telegraph Book of the Year.

The Chamber, the latest standalone thriller will be published in June 2024.

There will be an opportunity to purchase books and have them signed by Will Dean.

Included is a hot drink and slice of cake which will be provided during the event.

This is a supporter event and all profits raised will benefit The Norfolk Hospice.
