We thought she would live forever! The trials and tribulations life threw at her, and yet, against the odds, she pulled through them all - still with a smile on her face. Unfortunately, this time, she did not make it, but we will still remember her smiling, right to the end, on May 3rd 2021, with her two girls by her side. We will miss those smiles, we will miss her banter, we will miss her strength and her courage. We would love for you to join us in celebrating the life of Joan Maddock on 21 May 2021. The Funeral Cortege will leave: Glebewood Lodge Brandon Road Methwold Norfolk IP26 4RH at 11:25 on 21 May, if you would like to join the cortege we request you arrive by 11:00am. The Funeral will take place at: Mintlyn Crematorium Lynn Rd, King's Lynn PE32 1HB at 12:15 on 21 May. Face masks must be worn and social distancing rules must be adhered to. The ceremony will be broadcast outside the crematorium building as well as inside it (if social distancing rules do not allow everybody to enter - we are yet to hear what the maximum allowed numbers are inside the building). If you are not able to attend the service, but would like to be there, there will be a live video feed (Webcast) - details are below. You are then welcome to join us, outdoors, at Glebewood Lodge, for a reflection of Mum's life. Mum requested for people to wear bright colours at her funeral, she did not want a room full of black - let's see how colourful we can make it! Mum loved flowers, but she also loved Tapping House Hospice, who looked after her so incredibly well in her last three weeks.
