All of our shops are now open.

Recycling

We recycle donated items which cannot be sold wherever possible. We also recycle foreign coins and stamps.

Electrical items

We sell a wide range of second hand household electrical items including kettles, toasters, kitchen appliances and lamps. We also sell white goods including fridges, electric ovens, and home entertainment items such as TVs, games consoles, and DVD players.

Please note we are unable to sell gas appliances and electrical appliances which are broken.

We sell a wide range of books, CDs, DVDs, vinyl and videos.

Please note that we are unable to sell home recorded video or audio tapes and inappropriate literature, video or other material. We no longer accept old, yellowing or dirty books.

We sell a wide range of curtains, table linen, bed linen, blankets and cushions.

Unwanted gifts can be sold in our charity shops or used by the fundraising team as raffle prizes.

Furniture

We sell a wide range of furniture in several of our shops. We can collect large items of furniture free of charge and we also provide a house clearance service.

Please note that we are unable to accept upholstered furniture which does not have a sewn on fire label.

Unfortunately our shops are unable to sell homemade items.

Our shops are unable to sell homemade items such as jams, chutneys, knitted goods, quilts and cakes, however our fundraising team occasionally require these items for events. Please contact the fundraising office on 01485 601701 before making these items.

    The Hospice is run by a team of paid full time and part time staff and over 300 volunteers, some of whom commit to working several hours every week for the Hospice, whilst others volunteer a few hours in a year to help out.
