How can you help Volunteer Volunteer opportunities Volunteer shop assistant - King's Lynn Broad Street Due to the situation around coronavirus (Covid-19) we've paused our volunteer recruitment. But do send us your application - we're so grateful for your interest and look forward to contacting you very soon. Our shop volunteers enjoy meeting people and making new friends - and we need extra help at our town centre shop in King's Lynn. It's a good feeling to know that the money going into the till helps pay for hospice services. Interested? Apply Online or contact the shop. This shop is a busy one so we want people who like helping customers with their purchases, taking money and operating the till. And you'll be able to use your own initiative to see and decide what needs doing to keep the shop floor looking good. If you think you'd like the comings and goings of a lively shop and can greet our customers with a friendly smile, this could be just what you want. Call Lynn on 01553 766564 or pop in to 26/28 Broad Street, PE30 1DP for an informal chat. We need people for morning shifts - especially Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays. It would be great if you could make a regular commitment for the hours you're happy to attend - this could be as little as one or two hours at a time if you can't manage a full four hour shift. You'll be providing invaluable help with the running of the shop, keeping it stocked and attractively displayed. Get involved by sorting out stock, putting your own stamp on the shop displays and serving customers at the till. If you've worked in a shop before that's great - but if not, the friendly team will give you whatever training and support you need. If you think you'd like to help, read Kevin's story - he's one of our shop volunteers.
