How You Can Help Volunteer Volunteer opportunities Volunteer shop assistant - King's Lynn Broad Street As we reopen our shops, with social distancing measures to protect everyone, we'll need extra help - and our town centre shop in King's Lynn has vacancies on several days of the week, including weekends. Interested? Apply Online or contact the shop. This shop is a busy one so we want people who like helping customers with their purchases, taking money and operating the till. We've had lots of extra donations too, so we need people to get them ready to be put on sale. It's a good feeling to know that the money going into the till helps pay for hospice care. And you'll be able to use your own initiative to see and decide what needs doing to keep the shop floor looking good. If you think you'd like the comings and goings of a lively shop and can greet our customers with a friendly smile, this could be just what you want. We need people for Mondays and Tuesdays, either morning or afternoon, and on Saturdays to help with processing new stock. If you like operating the till, we particular want people who can be flexible and cover different days of the week, including Sundays. It would be great if you could make a regular commitment for the hours you're happy to come in - this could be as little as one or two hours at a time if you can't manage a full four hour shift. Call Diana on 01553 766564 or pop in to 26/28 Broad Street, PE30 1DP for an informal chat. You'll be providing invaluable help with the running of the shop, keeping it stocked and attractively displayed. Get involved by sorting out stock, putting your own stamp on the shop displays and serving customers at the till. If you've worked in a shop before that's great - but if not, the friendly team will give you whatever training and support you need.
